The Research Management Platform (RMP) Project has been busy working on intuitive replacements for WARP.

Elements: The Research Output component of WARP was replaced by Elements in May 2023. For Elements access and support please visit the RMP Launch Pad.

Research Administration System (RAS): The Research Funding component of WARP will be replaced by RAS on 27th May 2024.

  • When RAS goes live, you will be able to find and apply for funding opportunities and establish and maintain your research projects in RAS.
  • If you would like to view an early preview of what you can expect, you can find a system demonstration of RAS here.

As we get ready to migrate data across to RAS, WARP Management Reports will not be updated. The reports will be available but will be displaying data as at 13th May 2024, following commencement of data migration activities and our existing system, RMDB, closing down.

Similarly, from 13th May 2024, you will no longer receive automatic RMDB emails.

WARP Management reports will be replaced with self-service style enquiry reports in RAS once we go-live. We are also currently reviewing all automated emails and the associated data provided to ensure that these will be able to be supported by RAS. Due to the transition to RAS, we will not be able to provide the following automated emails during June:

  • Grant Applications Submitted in the prior week
  • Funding Applications Submitted in the current year
  • Projects in the current month
  • IMAS Projects in the current year
  • IMAS Submitted Applications in the current year
  • Progress/Final Reports Overdue by School

If you require support or specific data that is normally provided by one of the above reports during the transition, please reach out to the Research Performance and Analysis (RPA) team with your request and we will endeavour to provide.

To keep up to date with RMP Project announcements, please visit the RMP Project page or join the RMP Reference Group on Teams by following these simple instructions.

The RMP Project Team is offering comprehensive user training when we go-live to get you up to speed on how to use RAS. We have split the training sessions by topic as you can see from the training schedule, please follow the link and click on a session to register.

For all reporting related enquiries please contact Research Performance and Analysis (RPA) on RPA.Research@utas.edu.au
